Napoli Pizza Village brings Neapolitan pizza-making into a public festival of food stands, live music and hands-on classes. You can come for a pizza and an evening show, or make dough and bake a pizza yourself at Casa Caputo. Children have their own workshops, so the event can suit a family outing as well as a food-focused visit.
The dates and grounds change by edition, with the summer festival moving between Naples and nearby Pozzuoli. Choose your evening around the announced site: where you eat, watch music and catch the train home may be outside Naples itself.

Naples has a pizza festival: Napoli Pizza Village celebrates the city’s pizza-making tradition. You can attend for the food and music without taking a class, or make pizza-making the focus of your evening. Families can combine a children’s workshop with a meal at the stands.
The organiser publishes each edition’s dates, host site and programme in the Naples event section of the official Pizza Village website, pizzavillage.it. The performer line-up develops as the programme is updated. Plan your arrival within the FAQ admission window, even if you intend to stay for later activities.
For a longer trip, Naples festivals and traditions puts this food festival alongside the city’s other recurring celebrations. Set aside an evening for Pizza Village without making the rest of your holiday depend on a fixed annual date.
Shows, workshops and the festival grounds
| Activity | Festival days | Window | Location |
|---|---|---|---|
| Children’s pizza workshops | Daily | 18:00–19:00; 19:30–20:30; 21:00–22:00 | Casa Caputo Kids Area |
| Adult masterclasses | Daily | 19:00–20:30; 21:00–22:30 | Casa Caputo |
| Stage shows | Every evening | Late evening | Festival stage |
Casa Caputo gives you a hands-on route from preparing dough to baking Neapolitan pizza in the oven. Choose a class if you want more than a tasting visit, and leave a separate stretch of the evening for eating. The children’s workshops teach pizza-making step by step, and the wider children’s activities also explore food education, history, culture and traditions.
The festival stage combines live music with shows featuring artists associated with current hits. The cast changes, rather than repeating a fixed annual bill. Performances continue late into the evening, while pizza stands operate throughout the festival, so you need not organise your whole visit around a single performance.
Lungomare Pertini in Pozzuoli became the host site in 2026. That move followed editions at Mostra d’Oltremare, Naples’s exhibition grounds, and earlier festivals on Lungomare Caracciolo. Choose your journey around the announced grounds rather than a previous venue. If you are staying in central Naples for a Pozzuoli edition, the journey back becomes part of deciding which activities to attend.
- Name
- Lungomare Pertini
- Location
- Via Tito Stazio 10, Pozzuoli Maps
- Essential fact
- A waterfront promenade in Pozzuoli, west of Naples.
Pizza and drinks
- One pizza: Margherita, marinara or a speciality pizza.
- One drink: 330 ml Coca-Cola, 330 ml Peroni Nastro Azzurro beer or 500 ml Nerea water.
Choose Margherita for mozzarella, or marinara for a tomato pizza without cheese. Margherita usually combines tomato, mozzarella and basil, while marinara usually has tomato, garlic and oregano. Festival speciality pizzas offer changing alternatives to those familiar recipes.
The organiser sells menus online before and during the festival through its Naples FAQ. Buying food is separate from entering the grounds, so companions who only want the music need not purchase a meal.
For gluten-free pizza, head to the exclusively dedicated station. The organiser presents this provision as intended for people with coeliac disease. Make your dietary needs clear there rather than treating an ordinary pizza stand as interchangeable with the dedicated service.
Classes, reservations and rooms
Casa Caputo masterclasses are for non-professional pizza enthusiasts, so you do not need to work in a pizzeria to take part. For children, the pizza classes accept ages 6–12 and have space for 15 children per session. Reservations are handled through Pizza Village’s Naples Kids Area page: make a separate reservation for each child, as one reservation covers only one participant.
Choose accommodation in relation to the announced grounds and your evening return. A room in Pozzuoli makes sense for a waterfront edition if the festival is your main reason for travelling. Central Naples suits a wider city visit, but a late show may mean arranging a different way home after regular trains finish.
As a rough room budget, allow about €70–€120 per night for a simple guesthouse double in Pozzuoli or outside Naples’s most central areas, and €120–€200 for a central Naples hotel double. Location, room quality and summer demand move the price.
Wear ordinary clothes and comfortable shoes for an outdoor evening with queues and standing. A light layer is useful if you stay beyond dinner, but no costume is needed.
Crowds and getting there
For the Pozzuoli waterfront grounds, Gerolomini is the Cumana arrival stop identified by Pizza Village, with an approximately five-minute walk to Lungomare Pertini. From central Naples, this is a rail outing rather than simply an evening stroll to a city venue.
Regular evening Cumana departures from Pozzuoli towards Montesanto run approximately every 30 minutes, beginning at 18:11. Allow time to reach Pozzuoli station if you use those departures for your return, while Gerolomini is the stop identified for arrival at the grounds.
Late festival trains depend on a separately announced extension. Additional evening and night services have operated on selected closing nights, but they are not the regular service pattern. Pizza Village’s Naples FAQ provides venue-access guidance, while EAV publishes the rail arrangements and extension notices.
Decide how you will get back before choosing how late to stay. Leave room between a pizza queue, a workshop and a show, rather than fitting them tightly together. If the evening’s main attraction is late music, arrange a return that does not depend on leaving halfway through it.
