Seville Clubs: Four Dance Venues Compared

Seville’s dance venues offer distinct reasons to stay out late: Cosmos centres on electronic nights, Fun Club brings an alternative concert-room setting, Sala X rewards choosing a particular DJ session, and Kafka shares Malandar’s venue for electronic club culture. Choose by the music and the admission conditions, rather than treating every ticket as an all-night pass.

The best club depends on your preferred sound: Cosmos suits electronic-music listeners, Fun Club alternative dancing, Sala X a particular event, and Kafka a club-culture crowd. Seville has enough variety here for different tastes, not just one kind of dance night.

Clubbing usually gets going after midnight. Weekend choices are broader, while a weekday outing needs a specific session rather than an assumption that a venue opens nightly. Line-ups change, and an earlier concert is a different choice from a later DJ-led dance session.

Budget roughly €4–€6 for a beer and €8–€12 for a spirit and mixer bought separately, but larger servings, premium spirits and special events can raise the cost. Count any drink included in admission before buying another.

If you would rather bar-hop or watch a seated flamenco performance, other ways to go out in Seville offer a different shape of evening without committing to a late dance session.

Cosmos Club

Choose Cosmos for an electronic or techno-led night, with the particular session deciding the sound. Latin sessions are a different musical choice, so the club’s name alone does not tell you what you will dance to.

Cosmos is on Calle Carlos de Cepeda 2, outside the old centre. A taxi approach makes sense if you are starting around the cathedral or staying in the historic core: use the full street address as your destination.

The all-night wristband and all-night drink ticket suit a later arrival better than the time-limited options. The all-night ticket with a drink costs €15. Event schedules can differ from the recurring weekend hours, and booking fees are additional to the listed ticket prices. Match your arrival to the ticket you actually hold, not to the venue’s closing time.

Fun Club

Fun Club suits indie, pop and electronic dancing in an alternative concert-room setting. Rock and pop concerts are part of its identity, but the party continues after the live show finishes: decide whether you want the performance, the dancing, or an evening built around both.

The crowd mixes young adults, nostalgic patrons and visitors rather than following one uniform club style. That makes it a useful choice if your group prefers familiar pop and alternative sounds over a night devoted to one electronic genre.

Fun Club stands at Alameda de Hércules 61, on the long public square in the northern old centre. Walking is a straightforward approach if you are already nearby in the historic core. Use the numbered address to find the venue along the Alameda.

On regular club nights without a concert, buy your ticket at the door, not online. The included mixed drinks are spirit-and-mixer servings. The recurring hours can vary by week, so a concert start and the later party should not be treated as the same admission choice.

Sala X

Sala X is for choosing a dance event, not expecting one fixed sound every night. Its club programme varies between sessions and collectives. The setting also hosts alternative and rock concerts, which are a separate reason to visit rather than a promise of the later DJ session’s music.

Sala X is at Calle José Díaz 7, north of the old centre. A taxi approach is practical from the historic core, especially if the session itself is your main destination. Choose the dance event before setting off rather than travelling simply because the venue has an evening programme.

Usual club sessions run from 01:00 to 06:45 on Fridays and Saturdays, distinct from the venue’s broader evening opening. Tickets belong to individual events: buy online or at the door on the day, with door sales subject to availability. The listed admission figure is an example for one session, not a standard tariff across the programme.

Kafka Club at Malandar

Kafka at Malandar suits an electronic-music night with an alternative, underground-minded crowd. House, tech-house, disco and electro feature in the programme, alongside melodic techno and progressive house. Some special events bring Afro-Cuban, Brazilian or African rhythms into the electronic mix.

Kafka and Malandar share the venue at Torneo 43: Malandar’s concerts and Kafka’s late-night club programme are different parts of the same address.

Torneo runs along the western edge of the old centre, beside the river. Walking is a reasonable approach if you are already staying or spending the evening nearby. Give yourself a clear destination at the numbered entrance rather than treating the whole riverfront as the club’s location.

Kafka runs on selected dates, with session hours depending on the event. Kafka Original’s advance and door tickets both include a drink, but its tariffs belong to that named programme, not every Kafka party. Advance admission costs less than paying at the door, while the guest list trades a paid ticket for an earlier, capacity-dependent arrival.

Getting back after the clubs

Choose your return around your accommodation, not simply the club’s closing time. From Fun Club or Kafka, walking may suit a nearby old-centre stay. Cosmos and Sala X make a taxi particularly useful if your accommodation is in the historic core or farther across the city.

For a taxi pickup, use the venue’s full address rather than just its name. Agree a clear meeting point outside the entrance, away from the queue, and confirm your accommodation’s address before leaving.

TUSSAM’s night-bus hub is Prado de San Sebastián. A night bus is useful only if its destination and departure suit your actual return, including the journey to the hub. It is not automatically convenient from these clubs. The departure times below apply outside summer and the Spring Festivals.

Departures from Prado
00:00–05:00
Sunday–Thursday and public holidays
First and last departures as above; also 01:00, 02:00, 03:20 and 04:00

Night buses operate throughout the week. Fridays, Saturdays and nights before public holidays have additional departures, with the extra times varying by line.
